SME Internal Sales Representative

SFS UK - Division Construction currently has an opportunity for an SME Internal Sales Representative to join our team in Leeds. Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager and based within our Customer Service Department, the position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion to succeed and drive sales. 

Objectives

  • Proactive management of small/medium-sized accounts with the aim to achieve profitable sales growth from these accounts.
  • Promotion of eCommerce platform to deliver sales growth via self-serve to improve service efficiency both internally and externally.
  • Proactively manage own workload, working towards any targets given and sharing responsibility for all office and administration duties.

Principal duties

  • Onboarding of all new e-shop accounts; ensuring relevant departments/persons accuratelycapture information in a timely manner.
  • The main point of contact for SME accounts; providing support and assistance through all of their interactions and transactions with SFS.
  • Review outstanding proforma orders/quotations within SAP to ensure the conversion is maximised.
  • Identify development potential within existing accounts by studying current business; work with territory manager/Sales Director to identify and evaluate additional needs/opportunities
  • Review transactions with proforma customers with a view to converting to credit accounts.
  • Develop and implement a follow-up after-sales service for new customers to ensure the service received has met/exceeded their expectations.
  • Responsible for maximising customer potential spend with SFS through regular review of orders and recognising upselling opportunities at the proforma/quotation stage.
  • Recognise cross-selling opportunities across SFS product lines.
  • Effective utilisation of the CRM system; ensuring data is accurate, relevant, and compliant.
  • Review opportunities within the CRM system to improve internal and external communication.
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with the external sales team to ensure effective collaboration and development of accounts.
  • Commitment to learning SFS products and applications, processes, and operations, as well as remaining up to date on industry news.
  • Attend customer meetings either onsite or at customers premises supported by CustomerExperience Manager, Senior Sales Manager, or Sales Director.
